Happy New Years everyone!
As crazy as 2020 was, it was a very big year for us with lots of changes! We bought a house and started renovating it, got married, started a company together, and bought another house, all in the same year.đł
This year, we hope to be more intentional in the content we create and share here, on our online home, and on our Instagram. We thought it would be fitting to share some of our resolutions / plans and upcoming projects with you!
PROJECT HOUSE:
The big one, of course, will be our new project house. We have decided to hold off on scheduling any other client projects and focus on the house full time. Currently, we are in the demo stage and are looking forward to sharing every step of the process with you.
Although our main focus will be on our project house, theres still so much we want to do in our #NewlyNestedHome. The four bigger projects / rooms that we will be focusing on are: our living room, dining room, office, and guest bedroom.
LIVING ROOM:
I've mentioned before that we wanted to be very intentional with our furniture purchases. That being said, many of our rooms are still unfurnished, including the living room. My vision for this room has completely changed since moving in so I am glad that we waited to purchase a couch, but we can't wait to finally furnish this room and have a cozy place to hangout / host friends and family.
DINING ROOM:
Much like the living room, our dining room has remained unfurnished. I've been on the lookout for a table for quite some time, but it seems like everything I like is too small for the space. Soooooo we will be building a dining room table! Yes, a whole table!! Do we know what we're doing? No. But did I go crazy pinning on Pinterest?? Yes! So basically an expert now....đȘđŒđ Very excited to take you guys along in this project!
OFFICE:
This is one we're most excited about! We spend quite a bit of time in our office but we haven't really done anything to it since we moved in. This might be one of the first projects we'll be focusing on because we can't wait to work at a real desk. It's the little things.đ
GUEST ROOM:
Our final major project will be our guest room. This room gets some of the prettiest light at sunset, easily making it one of our favorites already, but it's about time we upgrade from a blow up mattress to a real bed! We plan to build a headboard (can't wait to share the mood board you guys will love this) and cozy up the space, make it warm and inviting for our guests!
