*Home Office has entered the chat*
This view is about to look very different.
Today is the official first day of the One Room Challenge.
If you are not familiar with the One Room Challenge, it is an 8 week process where participants choose one room to completely overhaul. We chose our Home Office. This little room in our home gets so much use, yet we haven’t really done anything to it.
When we first bought the house, this room got a fresh coat of paint (SW Alabaster), new floors, and a cute new ceiling. But since moving in, almost two years ago, we haven’t done anything else, even though we spend so much time in here. So we cleared (mostly) everything out and are starting with a blank slate.

Refinishing this desk (my inspo is this one from RH).
Installing built-ins on this wall for extra storage.
Creating a better system for storage in the closet.
And finally, painting the trim and walls, adding window treatments, a rug and appropriate lighting (an overhead fixture, sconces, and lamps).
Over the next eight weeks, we will be turning this room into our dream office. We will be posting weekly updates on here as well as sharing on our Instagram. Hope you join us on this journey!
